Cancer Care

We provide high quality and compassionate cancer prevention, screening, diagnosis and treatment.

Among our many innovations, we offer:

  • rapid genomic tumour sequencing – a first in Canada;
  • access to global clinical trials for new anticancer treatments;
  • innovative immunotherapy and oral anticancer monitoring programs; and
  • advanced surgical techniques

Our skilled multi-disciplinary oncology team works in partnership with our community partners to provide the best possible care. We are a member of the Princess Margaret Cancer Care Network, the Mississauga Halton Central West Regional Cancer Program and partner with Cancer Care Ontario to provide state-of-the-art, person-focused care for those impacted by cancer.

Together, we:

  • provide timely access to high-quality care
  • support the whole person by caring for the physical, mental and social needs of patients and caregivers
  • provide seamless care transitions along the cancer care journey
  • incorporate the voices of those impacted by cancer to deliver the best possible experience

If you or a loved one are impacted by cancer, we are here for you. We offer oncology care at Brampton Civic and Etobicoke General.

Referral intake and booking process

Your health care provider is required to complete and fax a requisition before we schedule an appointment. You can find oncology or hematology requisition forms and referral information in our Find a Doctor or Service directory.

Our inpatient cancer unit cares for people with most cancer diagnoses. If someone needs care we don't provide, we work with our partners to help them access the care they need. Our goal is to make each person's health care experience as seamless as possible.
